A Film For New Teachers.

I recently watched a documentary about first year teachers in intercity L.A. called The First Year. I highly recommend this film for anyone considering teaching as a profession. I am going into teaching myself and have see a lot of poorly made videos from the 90's that really don't show a athletic view of teaching. This video follows five first year teachers and the stress and challenges that face a teacher in their first year. The film also shows the connections that teachers can make with students that are struggling.

This is a great film that can really open peoples eyes and shows the good and the stressful things from the first year.
